If noted on your plot/plan/plat that there is an utility or drainage easement just follow the instructions for the City of Charleston by accessing this link http://www.charleston-sc.gov/index.aspx?nid=341. Marcella is also very helpful and her phone # is 843-724-3754.

If you are in Berkeley County just follow the below instructions:

1. You have to submit the Plat of your Property.
2. You have to be the land owner
3. Fill out the application (I can email it to you)

The Encroachment Office is on Manor Street in Moncks Corner SC. The office is in The Public Works Building.

It is off 17-A behind the Old County Building. Manor Street runs behind this building.
